Poppy Seed Bread
- 3 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. poppy seed
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/8 c. oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 12 tsp. butter flavoring
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
- Mix flour, 2 1/2 cups sugar, salt, baking powder and poppy seed together and set aside.
- Combine eggs, milk, oil, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, 1 1/2 teaspoons butter flavoring and 1 1/2 teaspoons almond flavoring together.
- Gradually add flour mixture. Do not overbeat.
- Pour into 4 mini loaf pans and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour. Cool in pans for 5 minutes.
- Pour glaze over loaves and let them set for 5 minutes.
- Wrap tightly in foil.
