Macaroni And Cheese(Microwave)

  1. Place margarine in a 2-quart casserole.
  2. Microwave on High (100%) for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until melted.
  3. Add flour, salt and pepper.
  4. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
  5. Microwave on High (100%) for 6 to 8 minutes or until thickened.
  6. Stir several times during the last half of cooking time to prevent lumping.
  7. Stir in cheese.
  8. Reserve 1/2 cup for top.
  9. Add cooked macaroni.
  10. Cover with a tight fitting lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on Medium (50%) power for 12 to 14 minutes or until heated throughout.
  11. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  12. Remove from microwave and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  13. Recipe yields 6 servings.
