Beef And Broccoli

  1. Blend sherry and soy sauce, 4 tsp. oil, sugar and five spice powder.
  2. Combine with meat.
  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  4. In wok, saute ginger and garlic in remaining 1/2 c. oil, tilting wok to coat with oil.
  5. Stir fry broccoli 3 minutes, remove from pan.
  6. Stir fry beef 2 minutes just until brown.
  7. Return broccoli to pan.
  8. Stir in cornstarch and stock.
  9. Cook 1 minute longer until thick.
  10. Serve over rice.
