Meat Loaf With Tomato Sauce(Microwave)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 slices wheat bread
- 2 slices white bread
- 1 cup milk
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 minced onion
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 4 Tbsp. parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- Break bread into milk; soak.
- Combine other ingredients except butter, tomato sauce and oregano.
- Drain off excess milk from bread and mix bread into meat mixture.
- Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Dot with butter and place sheet of waxed paper loosely over dish to prevent splattering.
- Cook 5 minutes; turn dish.
- Cook 5 minutes more on High.
- Remove paper; add tomato and oregano.
- Cook 10 minutes more
- Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
