Quick Beef Stroganoff

  1. Cut meat in 1/4 x 2-inch strips.
  2. Mix flour with salt and toss with meat.
  3. Heat butter in frying pan.
  4. Add garlic and onion. Saute until garlic is lightly browned.
  5. Spoon out and reserve. Add meat to same pan, a few pieces at a time.
  6. Brown quickly and keep separate to prevent "stewing" meat.
  7. When meat is browned, return all to pan.
  8. Sprinkle with paprika and pepper.
  9. Blend well. Fold in sour cream.
  10. Heat slowly, do not boil.
  11. Serve over buttered noodles.
  12. Garnish with mushrooms sauteed in butter.
