Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

  1. Combine cookies and margarine; reserve 1/4 cup for topping, if desired.
  2. Press remaining cookie mixture onto the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 5 minutes.
  4. Cool completely.
  5. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions except use only the 1 3/4 cups milk.
  6. Immediately stir in peanut butter and chocolate.
  7. Fold in dessert topping.
  8. Spread mixture evenly over cooled crust.
  9. Top with reserved cookie mixture. Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
  10. Cut into squares to serve.
