Lemon Mustard Turkey Breasts
- 2/3 c. bottled lemon or lime juice
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. water
- 4 tsp. Dijon style mustard
- 4 tsp. sugar (optional)
- 2 tsp. chicken bouillon
- 1 1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 (2 lb.) boneless turkey breast half
- Combine all ingredients, except turkey, mixing well.
- In large, sealable plastic bag, pour 1 1/4 cups marinade over turkey. Seal and marinate in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
- Chill remaining marinade.
- Remove meat from marinade.
- Grill or broil meat over indirect heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until meat thermometer inserted in center reaches 170u0b0. Baste frequently with remaining marinade.
- Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
