Aunt Tillie'S Strawberry Dessert

  1. Combine flour and margarine as for pie dough.
  2. Pat into a 9 x 13-inch
  3. pan.
  4. Bake
  5. at

  7. fort0 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool immediately.
  9. This part can be done the day before. Then
  10. beat
  11. together
  12. thetream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip
  13. and
  14. place
  15. on
  16. top of the cooled crust. Chill
  17. while preparing
  18. the
  19. following:tix together Jell-O, sugar and cornstarch in medium-sized saucepan.
  20. Add hot water. Bring to
  21. a full
  22. boil.
  23. Boil
  24. 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cool thoroughly. Fold
  25. in sliced fresh strawberries and place on top of
  26. Cool Whip
  27. mixture.
  28. Keep
  29. chilled
  30. until ready to serve.
