Five Bean Salad
- 1 (No. 2) can kidney beans
- 1 (No. 2) can green beans
- 1 (No. 2) can wax beans
- 1 (No. 2) can pinto beans
- 1 (No. 2) can black beans
- 1 small onion, peeled and sliced in rings
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. red bell pepper strips
- 1/2 c. green bell pepper strips
- 1/2 c. miniature carrots cut in strips
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 3/4-1 c. sugar
- Wash red and green bell peppers and carrots, cut into strips and set aside.
- Wash onions and celery.
- Set aside.
- Remove strings from celery, chop and set a side.
- Drain beans and rinse. Combine vinegar, 1/2 c. salad oil, and 3/4 cup sugar.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
