Hot Spanish Cheese Dip

  1. Cook spinach according to package directions (omit salt). Drain thoroughly (reserve liquid, 1/2 cup).
  2. Melt margarine; add flour and stir until smooth.
  3. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add reserved spinach liquid, milk and next 6 ingredients.
  4. Stir until cheese melts.
  5. Add spinach and mix.
  6. Spoon into lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  7. Combine bread crumbs and 1 teaspoon melted margarine.
  8. Sprinkle over spinach.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes.
  10. Serve hot over crackers or raw vegetable.
