Seven Layer Salad
- 1 large head iceberg lettuce
- 1 medium thinly sliced purple onion
- 1 small head cauliflower
- 1 pkg. frozen peas
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar or Swiss cheese, grated
- 1 lb. (more if desired) crisp, crumbled bacon
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 pkg. dry Hidden Valley Ranch seasoned salad dressing
- Break up lettuce in large container.
- Slice onion over lettuce. Break the cauliflower into small pieces or slice.
- Spread uncooked frozen peas.
- Sprinkle cheese over next layer.
- Fry bacon until crisp and crumble over top.
- Mix the mayonnaise with Hidden Valley Ranch salad seasoning; mix well.
- Spread mayonnaise mixture carefully over entire top of salad.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly before serving.
