White Chocolate Brownies
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter
- 4 oz. white chocolate, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 4 oz. white chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat.
- Remove from heat; add grated white chocolate.
- Stir until chocolate melts. Set aside; let cool to room temperature.
- Combine eggs, sugar and salt in a large bowl; beat at medium speed until thick and lemon colored.
- Gradually add cooled white chocolate mixture; mix well. Add flour, beating until smooth.
- Stir in chopped chocolate and vanilla.
- Spread batter in a greased 8 x 8-inch square pan.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Let cool in pan.
- Cut into squares. Yields 16 brownies.
