California Rolls

  1. Combine the first 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Let stand
  2. for
  3. 1/2 hour.
  4. Add eggs, well beaten, flour, salt and melted margarine.
  5. Cover with wax paper and let stand for 3
  6. to
  7. 4 hours
  8. to
  9. rise.
  10. Take knife and divide dough into 4 parts.
  11. Roll out
  12. each
  13. part
  14. to
  15. form a thin 13-inch circle. Spread with melted margarine.
  16. Cut in pie shaped pieces (12 in all
  17. from
  18. each circle;
  19. cut
  20. circle
  21. into fourths, then each fourth
  22. into
  23. 3 pieces.) Roll up each pie shaped piece, beginning
  24. with
  25. wide edge
  26. and
  27. place on greased pan.
  28. Brush with melted
  29. margarine and
  30. let stand 3 to 4 hours to rise.
  31. Cover with
  32. wax
  33. paper
  34. or place in cold oven to prevent dough from drying out.
  35. Bake at 375u0b0 for 12 minutes.
