Shrimp Spread
- 1 envelope Knox gelatine
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 large pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 2 cans shrimp, shredded
- 1 large onion (1 c.)
- 2 stalks celery (1 c.)
- 3 Tbsp. sweet pepper flakes
- 1/4 c. chives
- 2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- Dissolve 1 envelope Knox gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water.
- Stir in 1 cup very hot tomato soup (off stove, do not add water to soup) until gelatine is completely dissolved.
- Stir in rest of ingredients.
- Pour into mold and refrigerate overnight.
- Sprinkle with paprika after removing from mold onto serving plate.
- Use various types of crackers: wheat, rye, etc. and enjoy.
