Lasagna(Makes 2 Pans)
- 1 lb. sausage (mild)
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 12 to 15 lasagna noodles
- 3 c. cottage cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 c. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- Brown meat slowly.
- Spoon off excess fat.
- Add next 6 ingredients.
- Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles, while simmering meat sauce, in boiling salted water until tender.
- Drain and rinse in cold water.
