Favorite Pound Cake

  1. Cream butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer, about 2 minutes, or until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until yellow disappears.
  4. Combine flour and soda, gradually add to creamed mixture.
  5. Mix at lowest speed just until blended after each addition.
  6. Stir in flavorings.
  7. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 13-cup Bundt pan.
  8. Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  11. Yields one (10-inch) cake.
