Miniature Pizzas
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 cans flaky-style biscuits
- Mozzarella cheese (thin; on top of each piece)
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook sausage until about half done.
- Add onion and cook until tender.
- Add other ingredients and simmer about 20 minutes; cool. Put about 1 spoonful on each biscuit.
- Add Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
- Can add thin slice of pepperoni. Bake approximately 10 minutes at 400u0b0.
- If desired, for freezing, cook without the cheese, freeze on cookie sheet and later transfer to plastic bags.
- Flaky biscuits are to be split apart; four pizzas to a biscuit.
