Overnight Lasagna
- 1 lb. sausage or ground beef
- 32 oz. prepared spaghetti sauce
- 1 c. water
- 15 oz. Ricotta cheese *
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives *
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves *
- 1 egg *
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles
- 16 oz. sliced Mozzarella slices
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese **
- *Mix these ingredients together and let stand.
- Brown meat and add spaghetti sauce plus 1 cup water.
- Simmer 15 minutes.
- Let cool.
- To layer all, start with 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce, one layer of raw noodles, one layer of Ricotta cheese mix, layer of Mozzarella slices and another layer of sauce.
- Continue layering until all is used, ending with sauce on top.
- Cover with tinfoil; let stand in refrigerator overnight.
- The next day, bake at 350u0b0 for about 45 minutes; take tinfoil off until Mozzarella cheese on top is golden brown.
