Tomato-Rice Casserole

  1. Fry hamburger and drain.
  2. Slice potatoes.
  3. Take potatoes and "layer" them on a buttered roaster or casserole dish; cover the bottom of the pan with potatoes.
  4. Next, put some of the hamburger on top of the potatoes.
  5. Take some of the diced onion and sprinkle over the hamburger.
  6. Next, take some "uncooked" Minute rice and sprinkle over the onions.
  7. Repeat this process again.
  8. Should have 2 layers of each now.
  9. Pour the tomato soup over all and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour or so.
  10. If potatoes are done when poked, then remove and enjoy.
  11. Great with lettuce salad and bread.
  12. Very filling.
  13. To insure against any burning, add also 1 to 1 1/2 cans of cold water on top of tomato soup.
  14. Serves 4 to 6.
