Frankfurter Pie

  1. Reserve 4 frankfurters.
  2. Cut remaining into 1-inch pieces. Heat oil in medium saucepan.
  3. Add onion and green pepper and cook until soft.
  4. Add cut frankfurters; saute until frankfurters begin to brown.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in sauerkraut, mustard, pimento and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Cut each slice of bread in half from corner to corner; flatten with rolling pin.
  8. Line pie plate with bread.
  9. Top with sauerkraut mix.
  10. Cut remaining franks and top the sauerkraut mixture.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for about 25 minutes.
