Pork Chops Paprikash
- 8 boneless pork chops
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- finely chopped fresh parsley
- Place meat on flat surface and pound with mallet to flatten. Sprinkle meat on both sides with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Heat butter in skillet.
- Brown meat over high heat for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer meat to platter.
- Pour excess fat from skillet and cook onion until wilted.
- Add wine and stir to dissolve brown particles.
- Add chicken broth and simmer about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Pour sauce over meat and sprinkle with parsley.
- Good with rice or buttered noodles.
