Sausage And Apple Appetizers

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onion and saute, stirring constantly, until onion is golden.
  3. Stir in apple jelly and brown sugar.
  4. Add sausages and reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Cook, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken.
  6. Add apples; partially cover pan and cook 10 minutes or until apples are tender.
  7. Combine cornstarch and water and stir into mixture in pan.
  8. Cook 2 to 3 minutes more or until mixture thickens.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Yields about 30 appetizers.
