Gingerbread Houses

  1. Cover a cardboard tray with aluminum foil.
  2. Put frosting in bowl with confectioners sugar and mix thoroughly.
  3. Frost the outside of a milk carton.
  4. Cover with graham cracker "bricks."
  5. Use frosting to attach candies and cereals for decorating.
  6. Use cake decorator to pipe on icicles and designs.
  7. Attach to board with frosting.
  8. Continue decorating until you have your own gingerbread town.
  9. Experiment with different shaped boxes and cans to build condos, castles and churches.
  10. (Ice cream cones make great trees when covered with green frosting.)
  11. Use your imagination and create a great, edible holiday centerpiece!
