Strawberry Pretzel Salad(Student Favorite)
- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 3/4 c. melted oleo
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
- 1 large pkg. strawberry jello
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 2 c. boiling water
- Mix pretzels and sugar.
- Press in oblong pan.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 7 minutes.
- (Watch carefully.)
- Cool.
- Cream the softened cream cheese and mix with sugar and Cool Whip.
- Pour over cooled pretzel crust, making sure the mixture goes to the edges.
- Cool. Dissolve jello in boiling water; add fruit.
- Chill until thick. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
- Place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
