Old Fashioned Irish Stew

  1. Combine

  3. salt,tepper and glutamate in a bowl. Coat meat with flour mixture.
  4. Melt butter; add meat, browned. Add water, celery and bay leaf. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and
  5. simmer
  6. for
  7. 1
  8. 1/2
  9. hours or until meat is almost tender. Add remaining ingredients.tontinue cooking 1/2 hour or
  10. until meat
  11. and
  12. vegetables
  13. aretender.
  14. Yield:
  15. 6 to 8 servings.
