Clams Casino

  1. Open shells, letting clams remain in one half.
  2. In medium frypan, saute bacon until crisp.
  3. Remove bacon, crumble and reserve.
  4. Pour off excess fat, add onion and pepper and saute for 5 minutes.
  5. In small bowl mix chives, cheese, paprika, pepper, seafood seasoning and m.s.g. together.
  6. Blend into sauteed vegetables.
  7. Add the reserved bacon.
  8. Place 1 teaspoon of bacon mixture on each opened clam.
  9. Place clams on shallow baking pan and bake at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes.
  10. Serve with melted butter.
  11. Makes 24.
