Marshmallow Pavlova Slice

  1. Lightly grease 15 x 10 x 2-inch ovenproof baking dish and dust with cornstarch (coat well).
  2. Beat egg whites in large, deep bowl until greatly increased in bulk and soft peaks form.
  3. Add 2 1/2 cups sugar gradually and beat well after each addition until thoroughly dissolved.
  4. Add vanilla essence and vinegar and beat for extra minute.
  5. (Mixture should be glossy with firm peaks.)
