Little Pizza Snacks
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 lb. hot bulk sausage
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. whole oregano
- 1 Tbsp. fennel seed
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 lb. American cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 3 (8 oz.) loaves party rye bread
- Crumble Italian sausage in large skillet.
- Add hot sausage, onion and pepper.
- Cook until meat is done.
- Drain well on paper towels.
- Return meat mixture to skillet.
- Add seasonings.
- Heat on low heat.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Spread a scant tablespoon on each bread slice.
- Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
- Bake at 425u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Makes 10 dozen.
