Chocolate Striped Cheesecake
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate wafer crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet pieces
- 4 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- sweetened whipped cream
- maraschino cherries
- mint leaves
- 5 large eggs
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. heavy or whipping cream
- 1 1/4 (8 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate squares
- 8 oz. white chocolate or 3 (3 oz.) confectioners bars or 1 1/2 (6 oz.) pkg. white baking bar
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease 9 x 3-inch spring-form pan.
- In bowl, mix chocolate wafer crumbs and margarine.
- Firmly press onto bottom of spring-form pan for crust.
- Bake crust 12 to 15 minutes. Remove crust from oven.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Let stand until chocolate chips soften, then spread over crust.
- Refrigerate while preparing filling.
