Apricot Bars

  1. Cut apricots
  2. in
  3. small
  4. pieces;
  5. combine
  6. with
  7. water; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.teanwhile, mix flour, butter and

  10. Press crumbly mixture into greased 11 x 7-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.

  15. thickened, stirring constantly.
  16. Remove from heat;

  22. mixture
  23. over baked crust; sprinkle top with remaining coconut.
  24. Bake at 350u0b0for 25 minutes.
  25. Cool in pan; cut into bars. Makes 27 to 30 bars.
