Paradise Chicken

  1. Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
  2. Brown chicken in butter. Drain.
  3. Combine syrup, soy sauce and garlic and pour over chicken.
  4. Cover; simmer 30 minutes, turning chicken once.
  5. Remove chicken.
  6. Add pineapple, bell pepper, celery, green onion and papaya to pan.
  7. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 cup of water.
  8. Stir into pan.
  9. Bring to a boil.
  10. When thickened, spoon over chicken. Serve.
