Seven-Up Jello Salad

• 2 small pkg. lemon jello
• 2 c. hot water
• 2 c. 7-Up
• 1 c. mini marshmallows
• 14 1/2 oz. crushed pineapple
• 2 bananas, sliced
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
• 2 Tbsp. butter
• 1 pkg. Dream Whip, mixed
• crushed nuts

1. Mix jello and water in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
2. Cool.
3. Add 7-Up. Let cool and thicken slightly.
4. Drain juice from canned pineapple and save.
5. Add marshmallows, pineapple (drained) and bananas to jello mixture.
6. Chill thoroughly until set.
7. Cook pineapple juice, sugar, cornstarch and egg in a saucepan until thick.
8. While still hot, add room temperature cream cheese and butter.
9. Cool, then fold in Dream Whip.
10. Spread over jello and top with nuts.
