Shrimp Or Tuna Dip
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 envelope Knox gelatin
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
- 4 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
- 1 egg, beaten
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1 small can tuna fish, 1 small can shrimp or 8 oz. frozen shrimp (small)
- 1 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
- dash of salt
- Melt cream cheese in tomato soup.
- Stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
- Dissolve gelatine in 1/4 cup cold water.
- Add to tomato soup mixture.
- Add beaten egg and mix well.
- Allow to cool slightly and then add celery, peppers, onion, salt and Tabasco sauce.
- Mix and add crumbled or diced shrimp or tuna and the Miracle Whip.
- Put in mold and chill until firm.
- Serve on plate with crackers.
