Parmesan Bread
- 1-1/2 cups biscuit/baking mix
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 teaspoons tomato paste
- Dash cayenne pepper
- In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients just until blended. Spoon into a greased 9-in. round baking pan. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400u0b0 for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In separate small bowls, combine herb butter and tomato butter ingredients; beat until smooth. Serve with warm bread.
