Shepherd'S Pie(Health Conscious)

  1. Boil potatoes until tender.
  2. Mash together with skim milk and pepper until smooth; keep warm.
  3. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  4. Saute ground beef.
  5. Pour into colander lined with paper towels and drain fat.
  6. Return meat to pan.
  7. Add onion; cook until onion is translucent.
  8. Add bell pepper, carrots, peas, tomato, parsley, chicken stock, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  9. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
  10. Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into meat mixture.
  11. Spoon into baking dish.
  12. Spread mashed potatoes over surface.
  13. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until lightly browned.
