Macaroni And Cheese With Dogs
- 7 1/2 c. water
- 4 c. macaroni noodles
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. milk or soy milk
- 16 oz. Velveeta cheese
- 3 hot dogs, cut up into small pieces
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add noodles and oil. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- In another pan, boil hot dog pieces. In a large microwavable dish, combine butter, milk and Velveeta. Microwave on high for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted. Drain noodles and rinse thoroughly with hot water.
- Combine noodles, cheese mixture and hot dog pieces.
- Mix well and serve warm.
- Grated Parmesan, salt and pepper can be added for flavor when serving.
- This dish can be reheated and served as a leftover. Serves 6.
