Hearty Backyard Burgers

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into six patties.
  2. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack.
  3. Cover and grill over medium-high heat or broil 4 in. from the grill for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160u0b0 and juices run clear.
  4. Serve on rolls with lettuce and tomato slices.
