Frozen Fruit Salad
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 eggs
- 1 large can chunky pineapple
- 1 (4 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
- 1 medium bag miniature marshmallows
- 1 pt. whipping cream
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- Beat flour,
- sugar,
- vinegar and eggs and put in top of double boiler.
- Add
- juice from one large can chunky pineapple and
- juice from
- maraschino cherries.
- Cook until thick (this doesn't take very
- long)
- and
- cool.
- Add
- into cooked sauce, marshmallows, cut up
- cherries
- and cut up pineapple.
- Put in large bowl
- and let set in refrigerator for at least 12 hours. Then beat
- whipping cream (not Dream Whip or Cool Whip).
- Add this and
- nuts
- to custard.
- Put in cupcake papers and put in muffin tins
- to freeze.
- Put
- in covered container in freezer and they will keep a long time.
- Makes about 25.
