Delicious Orange Rolls

  1. Sift and measure flour.
  2. Crumble yeast in water.
  3. Add the juice, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and well beaten egg.
  4. Then, add flour all at once and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add softened Crisco and mix well. Let rise until double in bulk.
  6. Punch down and roll out as for biscuits.
  7. Spread with oleo or butter, 4 tablespoons sugar and orange rind.
  8. Roll up as for cinnamon rolls and cut into small rolls about 1-inch thick.
  9. Let rise until double and bake in hot oven at 375u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until rolls are a delicate brown and spring back when tested.
