Double Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe yellow cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 c. sliced almonds, divided
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Grease baking sheets.
- Combine cake mix, melted butter and egg in a large bowl.
- Beat at low speed with electric mixer until just blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips, pecans and 1/4 cup almonds.
- Shape rounded tablespoonfuls dough into balls.
- Place remaining 3/4 cup almonds in shallow bowl. Press top of cookie in almonds.
- Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool 2 minutes on baking sheets.
- Remove to cooling racks.
- Cool completely.
- Store in airtight container.
