Garden Style Lasagna
- 1 box lasagna noodles
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 small carton fresh mushrooms or 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
- 1 large tomato, chopped fine
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper, according to taste
- 1 Tbsp. minced, fresh garlic or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 small jar Ragu garden style spaghetti sauce
- parsley flakes
- In a skillet, brown ground chuck; drain and set aside.
- Slice the mushrooms and prepare frozen spinach according to directions on the package.
- Drain thoroughly.
- In a large, deep skillet, simmer mushrooms, tomato, onion, spinach, pepper, garlic and bell pepper until tender.
- Add meat.
- This helps flavors blend.
- While vegetables simmer, cook lasagna noodles according to directions on the package.
- Drain noodles.
