Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies
- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. Hershey's mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (9 oz.) bag Hershey Kisses or Kisses with almonds; milk chocolate, unwrapped
- Chocolate Drizzle (optional)
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended.
- Add flour to butter mixture; blend until smooth.
- Stir in small chocolate chips.
- Mold scant tablespoonful of dough around each unwrapped Kiss, covering completely.
- Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
- Cool slightly; move from cookie sheet to wire rack.
- Cool completely.
- Prepare Chocolate Drizzle, if desired.
- Drizzle over each cookie.
- Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
