Creamy Green Vegetable Casserole
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped frozen broccoli
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen baby lima beans
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained, chopped
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- Cook broccoli
- using package directions, adding 2 beef bouillon cubes, salt and pepper to cooking water; drain.
- Cook lima beans using package directions, adding 1 beef bouillon cube to cooking water; drain.
- Combine broccoli, lima beans, water chestnuts, sour cram and mushroom soup in bowl; mix well.
- Spoon into baking dish.
- Top with mixture of cereal and melted margarine.
- Bake at 325 to 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bubbly and browned.
- Yield: 8 servings.
