Baked Ziti
- 6 c. (16 oz.) San Georgio cut ziti, uncooked
- 3 1/2 c. (32 oz. jar) spaghetti sauce
- 2 c. (16 oz.) Ricotta cheese
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Cook cut ziti for 10 minutes; drain.
- In large bowl, combine ziti, 1 1/2 cups sauce, Ricotta, Mozzarella, parsley, egg, oregano, garlic powder and pepper.
- Into a 3-quart casserole, pour 1 1/2 cups sauce.
- Spread the ziti mixture evenly over the sauce. Top with remaining 1 1/2 cups sauce.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake, covered, at 375u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Serves 8.
