Oat Wheat Bread

  1. Place the margarine, salt, oatmeal, powdered milk and most of the molasses in a large bowl.
  2. Add 4 cups of boiling water.
  3. Stir until the margarine has melted.
  4. Add yeast to remaining 1/2 cup of cooled water (105u0b0 to 155u0b0) to which a small amount of the molasses has been added.
  5. Add yeast mixture to oatmeal mixture.
  6. Stir in whole wheat and white flours.
  7. Add flour until dough is no longer sticky.
  8. Cover with towel.
  9. Let rise until doubled.
  10. Knead and shape into pans.
  11. Cover and let double again.
  12. Bake at 375u0b0 for about 40 minutes.
  13. Cool on rack.
