Glazed Banana Nut Bars

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and spices. Combine bananas and milk. Add the dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with banana mixture. Stir in nuts.
  2. Pour into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
  3. For glaze, in a small bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and enough water until glaze reaches desired consistency. Frost bars. Sprinkle with walnuts.
