Sherried Fruit(Very Beautiful)

  1. Cut apple rings and pineapple slices in half.
  2. Arrange fruit in layers in 2-quart casserole; set aside.
  3. Melt butter in heavy saucepan over low heat.
  4. Add flour and sugar, stirring until smooth, 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add sherry.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.
  7. Pour over fruit; cover and chill 8 hours.
  8. Let come to room temperature.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
