Liz'S Winey Chicken

  1. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet.
  3. Add chicken and brown on all sides.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. Add remaining butter; melt.
  6. Add onion and cook until tender.
  7. Add mushrooms; cook until wilted.
  8. Add chicken broth, wines, marjoram, thyme, bay leaf, curry and paprika.
  9. Return chicken to skillet.
  10. Cover.
  11. Cook over low heat until tender (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
  12. Serves 4 to 6 adults.
