Bavarian Apple Strudel

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. In large skillet over medium heat, combine undiluted apple juice concentrate and 1 tablespoon sugar. Place over medium heat; bring to a boil.
  3. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves; boil 1 to 2 minutes or until thick and syrupy.
  4. Add apples; cook over medium heat, 2 to 3 minutes or until tender but not mushy when pierced with a fork, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in 1 tablespoon amaretti or gingersnap crumbs.
  5. Cool to room temperature.
