Heavenly Fruit Cake

  1. Cut
  2. fruits
  3. into
  4. small pieces.
  5. Mix fruits, dates and nuts, then sprinkle with flour until coated; set aside.
  6. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, allspice and nutmeg; set aside.
  7. Beat eggs
  8. until fluffy and light.
  9. Add sugar, margarine
  10. and
  11. vanilla; beat until fluffy and creamy.
  12. Stir flour mixturetnto
  13. egg mixture;
  14. beat until smooth.
  15. Stir in fruit and nuts.
  16. Pour into well-greased and floured 9-inch tube pan, spreading
  17. evenly.
  18. Bake in
  19. preheated 225u0b0 oven slowly for 2 1/4 hours
  20. or
  21. until done. Cool pan on rack 30 minutes.
  22. Wrap in foil.
